Accommodation – main villa and apartment

Situated at the end of a quite road in the small Bulgarian village of Gorsco Kossovo, Villa Renee comprises the main villa (sleeps ten) and a smaller apartment (sleeps four).

Both the main villa and the apartment have access to and use of the swimming pool, summer kitchen and garden. Check out our photos of Villa Renee to see what the place looks like.

All bed linen and towels (bath and pool) are provided.

Main villa (sleeps ten max.)

The three-level villa has been renovated to a high standard, but still retains its Bulgarian charm.

On the ground floor there is a large reception / dining area. The table seats 12 and there is a computer station with internet access. Off this main area is a wet room with a lavatory, shower and washbasin.

Just off the reception room is a substantial kitchen which has a smaller seating area for up to six. Here you will find everything you would expect in a well-equipped kitchen:

• electric cooker with double oven and a four-ring hob
• large fridge
• double sink
• dishwasher
• washing machine
• microwave
• kettle
• toaster
• coffee maker
• bread maker.

A double-sided, wood-burning fire sits in the dividing wall between the kitchen and the reception room. The villa is centrally heated, powered by two woodburners. You are unlikely to need the central heating, but if you would like to light the fires we can supply the logs for a small fee. The hot water is powered by an electric boiler which is kept constantly on; the cost of the hot water is included in the price of the villa.

Access to the lower ground floor is via a short staircase (not suitable for those with mobility issues). One twin bedroom is situated off the television room where there is a 42-inch TV with surround sound, DVD and Sky. The sofas in this room can be used as two additional single beds.

Up a short flight of stairs from the reception room is the first floor. Here there is an airy drawing room with two sofas (one of which converts into a double bed) and a wood-burning stove. There is also a large bathroom with bath, separate shower, lavatory and washbasin.

The two double bedrooms on this floor are large, bright and airy, with wooden floors and window shutters. You can hear the goats' bells as they are taken up to the hills each morning.

There is also a cot available.

Apartment (sleeps four max.)

The apartment is situated on the far side of the summer kitchen. It comprises one double bedroom, a bathroom with bath, separate shower, lavatory and washbasin, and a sitting room / kitchen with double-bed settee, fridge, kettle and microwave. The sitting room has a large French window which leads out to a private patio with BBQ and seating overlooking the apple orchard.

The apartment is all on one level, but there is a shallow internal step into the sitting room.
